The Kythnos Music Festival!

Kythnos welcomes music and arts in the Aegean from August 28th to September 4th!

On the island, on musical trips

The Music Festival of Kythnos starts with concerts and seminars that will last from August 28 to September 4, 2021.

The artistic director of the Festival is the Curator of the Piano School of the Athens Conservatory Maria Efstratiadis and the musician - music educator Nota Antalopoulou, who comes from Kythnos.

We look forward to our own MusiKythnos Festival held under the auspices of the Municipality of Kythnos.

The Program of the event

The events of the Festival will be held in the picturesque settlements of Chora and Dryopida and will be attended by skilled musicians and well-established teachers such as Dr. Nikos Xanthoulis who will give a lecture on the ancient Greek lyre.

The curtain of the festival will fall on Saturday, September 4 with a concert dedicated to melodic poetry by Mikis Theodorakis.
